.3.2 Release - Termination for Cause - Release – Termination for Cause – Just Cause

Purpose

This process is used to separate a Non-PCS employee who has acquired Just Cause
Rights, and whose performance or behavior is unsatisfactory. The employee must be 1)
confronted with the reasons for the termination, and 2) offered an opportunity to rebut the
reasons for such action.

Situational Trigger

Department decides to involuntarily separate a Non-PCS employee who has acquired Just Cause Rights.
