Purpose

This process is used to release an employee from probation.

 

Situational Trigger

Department decides to release employee from probation. Release is non-punitive (nondisciplinary) and no restrictions are being placed on future employment.

Process

  1. Best Practice Tip: Ensure that employee is released before probationary period is completed

     
  2. Department determines appropriate PeopleSoft Action/Action reason code.
